The Kev. Mr. Clements based his sermon on the words " yonr salvat'on," the Rev. Mr. Hunt following with the question, "How shall wo escape if we neglect bo gnat salvfttion ?" It would be a great gain if, u the Wesleyan Conference in Wellington has just suggested, the two New Zealand Methodist Churchpg should unite, an in all the Australian colonics they have decided to do, so that this year or next Australasian Methodism might bo one.
The Wesleyan Ohurch at Tatarairaafca has had some slight but tangible improvements made therein, A pulpit cuthion has been presented by one of the wowhippere, and a few others have contributed matting for the aisle and a mat for the porch. The Committee mat the other evening, when it was reported that a further rum had come to the Building Fund Account from. too sale of remaining bazaar goods, so that the result from the Baziar now totalled £45, which had been divided equally between the Tarata and Qkato churches. This year's anniversary has been fixed to be held on Sunday, March 31 p., when Ksv. J. H. White will vMek afternoon and evening, while ca Oood FtiJßy the anniversary tea meiUng will be held in the grounds of lit. Wilson, juo. (kindly lout), wbero,' given fin* weather, the attraction* of bush and Maori fortification will add to the ontdour enjoyment. A publio meeting and concert will follow in the church.
