Kote—The " M " Manure gave the best results in proportion to cost out of 19 experiments with Champion Swede Turnips at the Government Experimental Farm at Momohaki in 1897 Isee page 170, Fifth Report of Agricultural Department) : Tho experimoata made at Momohaki with varioua Manures upon Turnips in the ticason 1898-09 show that the bsst result wag obtained from a mixture of one-third | steamed bone duit and two-thirds bosio | sins (Thoman' Phosphate), whilst the bett remit, at a minimum cost, was from a o-ixture of one-third Laves' Superphosphate and two-thirds of the W.M K CVs "M ' Manure. The latter mixture contains the same components as »he W.M £. Co. a No. 3 Mixture, tke proportions oeing a little different. The former combination points o the fact, now generally reoog-1 niscd, that the value of baiio slag, also I known as Thomas' Phosphate, has been great); under-estimated. The W.M.K.
