FEB PRESS ASSOCUriOH. Wanoasui, Maroh IS. The North Islwd Band Ooetert opened here to-day. In the aftemom the visiters vers entertained at a garden party, which wai practically spoiled spoiled by rain. In the evening the quartette and B Flat Cornet Solo competition! were proceeded with. Tbe formt r resulted :—Wanganui (123 point"), 1; Weodrille (105), 2; Wood. ville No. 2 (94), 3. The solj competitions are no' coscluded.
