About twenty micufes after the lady had gone he siw Conway in a state of collapse. He failed to identify Mrs Smith »s the lady ho saw \ on the hatchway. (Received 9, 3.17 a.m.) Sydney, March 9. Murphy gave similar evidence to McCombie in regard to Conway's death. Thomas Mcliiide a, pas-songsr on the Talune gave bvidonca that he saw a ladynear Conway shortly before he was taken ill but could not identify her. He had seen Mrs Smith on board the Talune.
