An offer by Oap f ain Coutts of the loan of bis collection ot Seuth African trophies was accepted with thanks. It wus intimated that Ciptain Coutts had promised to do all he could to enlist the sympithies of all Taranaki men at the seat of war with a view to contributions t,o the musoum,
Djna'.ioos by Mr Skirmsr of a valuable collection of Maori stone implements, and by Master Skinner of a bow and arrowy from the Soloman Islands were thankfully accepted, It was decided that aa effort be made to open the museum as near as possibly could ba arranged to the date of the anniversary of the provinc?, and en,c"!(savours ara to fee made to have an appropriate lecture on the occasion.
