Betting: 2 to 1 on Hautvillers. Wou easily. Timo, lmin, 16.}ic.s. Australian Oup. Dreamland (W. Minter), 1 ; Flintlock (Kirkpatrick), 2; San Fran (A. Richardson), 3. I British Admiral was scratched. Betfcing: 3to 1 Advance, 4to 1 Finland, fives San Fran, seven Dreamland. Advance occupied a handy place throughout the earlier stages of the journey. At the back stretch, San Fran was just in froot of Advance, then came Finland, Fliaklock, Malster, and Dreamland. Dreamland ran into third place at the abattoirs, and earning into the straight San Fran was just in front of Advance, with Dream'and and Flintlock next. At the distance Dreamland tackled Advance, who new headed Sau Fran, and at the half distance Advance was beaten, and Dreamland wa? in charge of affairs. Staving off a challenge by Flintlock, Dreamland went on under punishment and won by threequarters of a length, three lengths between second and third, then oaoa* The Bride, Malster, Advance, aid Seaport.
