On Friday last, at Takapa, in the Golden Bay district, an old age pensioner named Wm. Buy ford, aged 70, fell over a cliff into tbe water, breaking j his thigh. He dragged himself out and remained from noon on Friday tiU nioo od Monday night in h\& wet clothes and without fopd, He haa been brought tp, the Nelson hospital.
