The second composition for trophy (}»old medal) anil iir.it for the N.Z.R.A. Uronze Modal took place on Thursday lit, the Frank'ey Road range. Weather and wind good, light variable and strong refraction. The ammunition was noticed to bo defeotive; in some rases the charge was so poor that it was practically noiseless as wall as smokelass, and the bullets fell fav short of the turgutf;. The following were the principal scores: trophy (7 sho'cs each range).
