FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Aucklabd, February 19. Large crowds greeted the Imperial troops on their return from Rotorua. The troops lined up and gave three cheers for Mr. Seddon and Mr, Ward. On tfae run down, near Oxford, a man jumped off the train while it was going 30 miles an hour, and was not recovered. Another jumped off at Mamakau, and was recovered. A third jumped off at Mercer, and was badly ornised,
DSf ABTURB OF IMPERIAL TROOPS, Auckland, February 19. The Imperial troops left for Adelaide at noon to-day. Before leavin -, Colonel Wyndham wrote the Premier expressing his heartfelt tbaDks for the magnificent hospitality which the Imperial representative troops bad received at the hands of the people of New Zealand, and asking Mr. Seddon to convey to the Mayors of the cities through which they had passed bis warmest thanks for the splendid reception.
Wanqakui, February 19. The Committee in connection with the recent visit of the Imperial troops reported a surplus from the function of .£79, over and above expenses of £159. The Committee decided to invite the Indian troop? to visit the town.
