CADET SHOOTING.
A squad of the Central School Oadety under Captain Dempsey, went out to tho Butts on Monday afternoon for target practice. Tho weather wa* favourable for good shooting; some of tho boys made excellent scores, and should give a good account of them* .solves when Jatur, they join the Riflai or Guards. The range was 100 yds., and out of a possible 40, the following aro tho highest scores : ToUt
There was groat excitement over tlia 'lit; liotwooii Sliiiiiior ami Nathan and each was given nn extra shot to decide tho winner when Skinner scored another 4, heating Nathan who only made 3.
