Monday, February 18.—Before Mr. R. L Stanford, S.M. PROHIBITION ORDERS. Prohibition orders were granted for 12 months against Mariana Field and Charles At. Bti'lot. An appii: a'ion for an order against Archibsld McGiven was dismissed, the paitiea not being present. PKOCURINO LIQUOK FOR A PROHIBITED PEBSON. Frederick Hendry was convicted and fined 40s and 23s costs for procuring liquor for a prohib'ed person. Ohis. Dunstan Hoskin was fined 10s and 7s co-ts for a similar offunce, and was flood 20 i and 7s costs for entering liceris , ;d premises during the currency of a prohibition order against him. Jarr.es Mouat, of Eltham, bookmaker, was convicted and fined 10s and costs 7«, for wagering at Waitira, with a person whom he knew to be under age. Sydney Hunter pleaded guilty to a charge of being a rogm and a vagabond, and being found at night without lawful excuse on the premises of M. Jones. Accused elected to be dealt with summarily, and was sentenced to 3 months' imprisonment with hard labour.
