The deceased was highly raspected, and was an old and prominent member of the Oddfellows Order. Mr. Hat-ick. Mayor of Wanganui, has received an intimation that probably the Duke of York and party will include the Wangauui river trip in connection with their visit to New Zealand. The intimation comes through an inquiry as ts what steamer arrangements can he made.
