CONDITIONS. Two crews to start or no race. Threi: boats to start or no second prize. AH races to start punctually at advertised time. Any boat not at the starting point at the proper time shall be liable to disqualification for that event. Protests must be in the hands of the Secretary in writing within 16 minutes after th« race. Each protest must be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, which sum shall he forfeited if the protest is not upheld by the Committee. -0 Entrance fee, 10 per cent, of the amount /of first prize money offered for each event. Names, weights of competitors (including substitutes), and colours to be worn, must be lodged at the time of entry. All post entries (to cloße on Regatta day at 1 p.m.) will be charged 5 per cent, on amount of first prize. Bookmakers will not be allowed to bot inside the enclosure. The Committee reserve to themselves the right to alter tha order or postpone any or all the events, and add any regulations which in their opinion may bo necessary. Entries for all whaleboat races except Senior Vetorans, close with the Secretary at the Foresters ' Hall on THURSDAY, January 31st, at 8 p.m. Entries for , the Swimming Handicap Race close at the same time and at the same place. Ba,nd in attendance. • Special and delayed rains will be arranged to suit visitors.
