MB FHBSB ASSOCIATION.) al Wellisqton, November 23. nj A Chinaman, Wong Sow, on whoso ec premises liquor was seized a few days w igo, was fined £5 this morning for selling without a license to a conpatriot. *Tho police stated they found 800 bottles of oue Chinese liquor, 240 of another, and 82 of a third. Such ' liquors usually passed the Customs as medicinal wise, and that seized had already paid duty. The Magistrate ordered the .liquor to be kept, pendbg an application to the Government that it be not confiscated but returned to the defendant. j
