I'EU PttESJ ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, November 15. At the Supreme Court, the hearing of the charge agiinst Andrew Quintan of alleged assault with intent, at Pahiatua, was continued. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty, a decision in which His Honor concurred. Richard Uunderwood and John Siddells pleaded not guity to a charge of having robbed md assaulted John Woadgate. During the hearing the case broke down, *nd by direction of the Bench, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty. Chuistcuuboh, November 15. At the Supreme Court to-day, Thomas Mubin was found guilty on a charge of libel, with a recommendation to mercy on acsount of his age. HiHonor said ho would deal with the brisjner in tha morning, James Jen nets was found not guilty of crimioul assault,.
