PIB PBBBB ASSOCIATION. Gkeymouth, October 17. The coal truckers at the Blackball Mine struck work to-day, having given notice before hand if demands not complied with. They number about fifty, and are paid from 4s 6d to 8s per day. They demand an extra shilling per day. The mine is practically at a standstill. It is said that the regular coal hewers will not truck. Sixteen ballast hands on the Grey— Hokitika railway struck for 8s per day and to be allowed for time occupied ' I°™S to the Jgnrol pits by train. The Mayor to-day sent a telegram to the Hens.
