The third quarterly committee meeting of the Napier, Taranaki, and Manawatu Kailway Sick Benefit Society was held at the Eastown Railway Library oa September 28th, Mr. Allan, vice-President in the' chair. The Secretary's progress report was read as follows:—Balance brought forward, £l2B 4s sd; contributions, £134 Is; sick, accident, and funeral allowance, £B3 7s 3d; balance carried forward, £173 18s 2d.
