RUSSIA AND THIBET.
* (PSB PBBBS ASSOCIATION.) Received 3, 9.12 a.m. St, Pbtkrsbubg, October 2. The Czar's envoy to the Thibetans, Dr. Dadmeyeff, although a Mongolian, took costly presents to Dalai, the Lama at Lhass. His mission, through the agency of the priesthood, has been successful. The Thibetans are ready to receive the Russians. The Lama is sending gifts and an autograph letter to the Czar in return.
