l'Stt I'BKSS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, October 3. The Tu'anekai has returned to port, having baen unable to pick up tha shore ond of the broken cable iu Oook Straits. This cable, known as Nov 3, was broken about three miles from Otorangi Bay, near Torawhiti. Tho SBaward end was fished up and buoyed, sufficient new cable being taken on board to relay the shore end and connect with tho part already located.
