RETURNED INVALIDS.
(Received 17,10.40 p.m.) Hobart, September 17. The Kumara brings another baech of invalided soldiers, including the following New Zealanders:—Troopers Callan, Edwards, Furlong, and Nightingale. NEW ZEALAND CONTINGENTS. Wellington, September 17. The Premier has received a cable from Capetown that Captain L. H. Brown (probably Captain H. L. Bourne) and Lieutenant Cameron were released from the prison at Reitsvlei, on July 16. The Governor has received the following cable from the General of Com-1 munications, Capetown, dated Septum-1 ber 16:—"Wakanui left Capetown, September 11, has on board the following invalids of N w Zealand Contingents for Wei ington : Troopers Woodley, Cobat, Londen, Fraser, Willis, Clarke, Templeton, Cubitt, and Farrier Wallace; for Lyttelton: Gunner Colhorn; for Auckland: Lance-Corporal Williams. PROPOSED REVIEW OF COLONIAL TROOPS BY THE QUEEN HAILED WITH DELIGHT. Received 18,0.40 a.m. London, September 17. The Times says that the Queen's proposed review of the colonial troops is
hailed with pride and delight.
