A man named Gobs, formerly a clerk ip the Paris Panic, London, was reminded on a charge of stealing £60.000 from the Bank in Jannary, 1899, on which date £70,000 in notes disappeared from the cashier's drawer, Goss admitted cashing seme of the missing notes, wbich he alleged he found in the pocket of his office coat.
