ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A CHILD BURNBD TO DEATH AT WHANGAMOItONA. [PUB PBK33 ASSOCIATION.] Stbatfobd, August 11, News was brought froin Whangamoraona this morning that the two-)eai-o!d daughter of a settler named Gleesan was burned to death. It appears that the mother left the child in the house with a lighted candle while she went to see a cow, Returning shortly afterwards blio found the child outside with her clothes on fire. The injuries were so severe that death ensued.
