Dredging returns: —Hartley and Eiley, 3560z 7dwt; Junction Electric 11., 770z; Cromwell, 68oz sdwt; Junction Electric 1, 640z 2dwt; Perseverance, 540z lOdwt; Alexandra Eureka, 50oz; Golden Beach, 360z 18dwt 9gr.; Enterprise, 340z lOdwt; Magnetic, 340z; Earnscleugh 1., 330z 7dwt 18gr.; Molyneaux Hydraulic, 30oz sdwt; Waimumu Extended, 290z 3dwt; Clyde, 28oz; Success, 250z lldwt; Golden Treasure, 250z; Waimumu Central, 230z ; Earnscleugh 11., 220z Bdwt 6gr.; Manorburn, 17oz 6dwt; Otago, 14oz 15dwt; Chicago, 12oz 12dwt; Dunedin, lOoz sdwt; Nil Desperandum, 7oz 7dwt; Morning Star, 7oz 4dwt; Shotover, 6oz lOdwt Bgr. - _ The report of the directors of Hartley and Eiley states that the profit and loss account discloses some very remarkable figures. The amount of dividends for the year totalled £44,687 10s, equal to the splendid return of £6 17s 6d per £1 share, or 687'5 per cent. —a dividend, so far unique in the history of dredging. The- wages sheet shows the considerable sum of £1439 4s lOd distributed.
