A PARTY OF NEW ZEALANDERS CAPTURED. Received 23,1.41 a.m. London, July 21. General Pole-Carew fought a stiff action at Rietvlei, south of Johannesburg, The Boers used Creusot guns and pompoms. They outflanked a party of New Zeslanders on the right, capturing Sergeant Mac Donald, Corporals Richardson and Davie, Privates Aodeison, Cone, Cross, Lloyd, Hughes, Kennington, McLennan, McCullock, McEenzie, Peterson, R. D. Smith, Whitson, and Wright.
