John Bloller was found in a dying oondition in his house at Avondale today with a half-empty bottle of carbolic acid and a tumbler at his side. ,L,ife was extinct before the doptpr ajrifled..j Napier, July 18',' The inquest on Henry tfildred, aged, 28, showed that in a football matah on Saturday he revived a kick in the 1 groin, but want on pliying, and made no complaint cf pain, Lite at night ho was-taken ill, and a doctor was sent for em ly in the morning, who ordered his removal to the hospital, where he died 'on, Tuesday. A post-mortem showed returned inflammation of the bowels, death being due to peritonitis. A verdict to, that effect was returned", with the addition that the injury was caused by internal violence, but that' there was no evidence to show by whom inflicted, Paora Ropiha, a very influenthl 'chiof, who in the trouble some times did good service to tho Europeans, is dead, at a very advancid age. A tangi on a large spale is being held at the pab, near Waipawa.
