The Painttrs and Decorators' Union brought a cue against a iooat employer, charging bim with a braaob of the award by employing a boy who wu not an apprentice. The Court decided that a broi ch of the award had been oommitlud, but at the same tine nid that it was a most frivolous cate, The boy bad, ou hit own evidenee, been ihowi to be an idle apprentice, and he had bien well treated by hi* employer; That employer, in the Oourt'i ojnnwn, had not been well or oontiderately itreated by the Union, and it waa to be regretted that this notion had beta taken.
