MORE CASUALTIES. (Received 12,11.50 p.m.) Sydnkt, July 12. Sir W. J. Lyne has cabled to the military authorities at Capetown to appoint an agent to look after the requirements of invalided New South Wales soldiers.
Sir Frederick Oarrington has cabled to Sir W. J. Lyne that the New South Wales Bushmen engaged at Kustenburg on the 7th inst. behaved with great gallantry. He regrets the following casualties: —Killed: Corporal Murray, Trooper Russell. Severely wounded: Corporal Leigh, Trooper Finnister, Slightly: Captain MacHattie. Murray is supposed to be a Victorian. Received 13,1.30 a.m.
Sydney, July 12. Additional New South Wales men wounded at Bustenburg are Troopers Walsh and May. Wellington, July 12. Newsreached Masterton that Rupert Hosking, who was with General BadenPowell's force at Maf eking, was severely injured in the last fight before the relief. A cablegram received to-day states thifc Rupert and his father (Dr. W. H. Hosking) have arrived in London.
