At the Rugby Union meeting, it was decided that the touring team should play at least four matches, against Cuitprbury, Wellington, Taranaki, agd Auckland. Tae following dates were suggested: Canterbury, August 25; Auckland, September 1; Tarantki, BepUmibor 6; Wellington, September 8, The question of playing ii fi' h mutch was lefC in abeyanoe. August 22 was suggested for the first match with Southland.
