It transpires that the proposals for the appointment of a Commission to try Cape rebels made by Mr. Schreiner and Mr. Solomons was entirely spontaneous and not initiated in London. General Bailer is warmly eulogised on his recent successes. He has released many Natal volunteers who were taken prisoners by the enemy from time to time. A NEW ZEALANDER INVALIDED. (Received 20, 1.50 a.m.) London, June 19. Surgeon-Captain Feu wick, of New Zealand, has been invalided homo, A PEAOE DECLARATION MEDAL. Wellington, June 19. The Government have decided to have a medal struck for presentation to school children on the proclamation of peace.
