EXPORTS OF COLONIAL PRODUCE.
The Department of Agriculture has issued a leaflet showing the amount of certain exports from the colony during the month of May. The totals are : —Butter, 5649cwt, value .£24,431; cheese, 11,017cwt,-value £23,862; frozen beef, ll,o2Bcwt, value £12,757 ; frozen mutton—carcases 88,917cwt; value £93,665; legs and pieces, 1210cwt, value £1227; frozen lamb, 82,476cwt, value £116,403. The amounts contributed by the principal ports were as follow Aucklan—d 196cwt, value £962; cheese, 433cwt, value £937; frozen beef, 2526cwt, value £2947; frozen mutton, carcases, 1400cwt, value £1633; frozen lamb, 826cwt, value £1348. New Plymouth —Butter, 4337cwt, value £19,165; cheese, 2445cwt, value £5194. Wanganui—Frozen beef, 2467cwt, value £2294; frozen mutton, carcases, 2043cwt, value £1907; legs and pieces, 709cwt, value £661; frozen lamb, 119cwt, value £166.
