(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunsdin, June 11. At a meeting of the Conciliation Board to-day, on the saddlers' dispute being mentioned, it was found that the parties were unable to agree, a number of the employers declining to sign any award based on the arrangement made at the conference. This, it is understood, arises from the fact that an award dealing with the same trade has been made in Auckland, and the question of competition, under possibly unequal circumstances, has arisen. It was decided to refer the matter to the Arbitration Oourt. The Board was engaged for most of the day wit(i a dispute between the Goal Miners Union and the proprietors of the Allandale Goal Mine at Shag Point. The recommendation of the Board will be made

known on Friday. WEllington, June 12. The Oonciliation Board made its award in the wharf-labourers' dispute to-day, recommending a general increase of wages. The hours of labour were fixed at 8 a.m, to 5 p.m., exclusive of dinner hour, except on Saturday, then 8 to noon; all other time to be regarded as overtime. Holidays were tixed as New Year's Day, Good Friday, Queen's Birthday, Labour Day, Xmaa Day, Boxing Day, Easter Monday, and Anniversary Day. Later.
