(Received 1, 9.40 a.m.) London, May 31. Delagoa. Bay reports that the Netherlands Railway is blocked by Boers and .goods going to Lydenburg. The Grenadier Guards expelled a jfcwr rear-guard from Germiston after some street fighting. Nine locomotives and a great quantity of rolling stock were captured. Messrs. Musgrove and Frank Gerald are organising a theatrical benefit for the Australians on 28th June. All the artists taking part will be Australians, It is hoped a simultaneous benefit will be given in Australia. Capetown, May 31. A split has occurred in the Cape Parliament. Messrs. Schreiner and Solomon favour the annexation of the Republics. (Received 2, 1.30 am.) \ London, June 1. —A Lord Cecil Manners (re presenting Jfoe London Post) and Mr. Donohue •(Satfy Chronicle) are prisoners south kf the Rand.
