CONFERENCE OF DAIRY MANAGERS.

The second annual Dairy Conference is being held at Stratford. There is a large attendance, there being over fifty' factory manager* present. The business is entirely of an executive nature, Mr. J. Young, of the New Zealand Farmers' Dairy Association, was elect-d president; Messrs. J. Batey, S. Bowman, and A. Faull, vice-presidents; Messrs. N. AuJeison, L. Hansen, Shir-J ley, Falconer, Dempster, I larkness, I Wright, and Ludlow, a committee; Mr. Wright, secretary ; Mr. Wrisbert, treasurer; Mr. James, auditor. Arrangements for to-morrow's meeting were settled. The name was altered to " The North Islan 1 Factory Butter and Cheeseman's Association." \
