THE POSITION IN NATAL.
BOERS BOMBARDED BY BRITISH. COMMANDING POSITIONS HELD BY THE BRITISH. (Received 31, 8.D5 a.m.) London, May 30. Lieutenant-General Ulery is bombarding the Boar positions at Laing's Nek and Fowani Hill, in the northern angle of Natal, with naval guns. The British hold strong commanding positions. The Boer reply is ineffectual.
