AN UNSUCCESSFUL TOWING ATTEMPT.
(PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, May 31. An unsuccessful attempt was made this morning to tow the scow Warrior off the Manukau beach, where she lies stranded. The tug Sterling attempted to tow her off, but to no avail, The tide beginning to ebb, nothing further could be done. Another attempt will be made to-morrow,
