THE CORNWALL FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT.
The boisterous weather now prevailing has been decidedly prejudicial to large audiences being present at the excellent entertainments given at the Theatre Royal by the talented Cornwall Family. On Thursday evening there were many new items, all of which were rendered with great taste and expression and several encores demanded. The performance was throughout quite up to the high level for which the Family have obtained a reputation. This evening they exhibit their musical powers at Waitara, returning to New Plymouth on Saturday in time to give an afternoon performance. It is their intention also to give a sacred concert here on Sunday, and thus many who have been unable to have the pleasure of hearing these accomplished musicians will then have an opportunity of doing so. The entertainment on Saturday will be so arranged as to afford the greatest pleasure to the children to whom both the Spanish band and the bellringing should be a great treat.
