Wellington April 26. The result of the collection made in the archdiocese of Wellington for the Roman Catholic Cathedral is £3485 in cash and £17,390 more promised. The gold exported for the first quarter of the year was valued at £371,838, an increase of £11,789. According to an official return there are 196 dredges at work or building in Otago and Southland, besides a luge number in course of construction for the West Coast. The Typographical Society decided to accept the Conciliation Bjard's award in the linotype case.
