MR. J. C. MARTIN'S PROMOTION.
[FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, April 11. Mr. J. C. Martin, the retiring Public Trustee, was to-day presented by the officers and agents with a silver salver and tea-set. Mr, Duncan, senior officer, congratulated Mr. Martin on his promotion to the dignity of a Judgeship, anl took occasion to tender the staff's loyalty to Mr. Poyaton (Mr. Martin's successor), who was present.
