THE QUEEN IN IRELAND.
THIRTY THOUSAND CHILDREN REVIEWED. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) (Received 9, 8.50 a.m.) London, April 8. The Queen received a wonderful ovation in the poorest quarters of Dublin. Her Majesty reviewed 30,000 children in Phoenix Park, gathered from all parts. THE COLONY'S MESSAGE. Wellington, April 9. Mr. Seddon has received the following cablegram from the Secretary to the Queen, dated Dublin, Bth April:— " Queen gratified by New Zealanders', especially Irishmen's, sympathy, on ■ | splendid reception here."
