A COMMUNITY STARVING. j (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) (Received 28, 1Q a.m.) Adelaide, March 28. An American vessel touched at Palmerston Island on February 7 th. The captain reports that the small community of 50 inhabitants on the island was almost starving. They had had no communication with the outside world for nine months.
