CRONJE CAPITULATES UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER OF HIS FORGES. ALL PRISONERS IN LORD ROBERTS' CAMP. THE ANNIVERSARY OF MAJUBA HILL [PEIt PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received 28, 1.30 a.m.) Auckland, February 28. The Premier has received the following message from tbo Agent-General, dated London, midnight, February 27th " Lord Roberts has telegraphed that Cronja and all his force capitulated unconditionally at daylight to day. "They are now prisoners in Lord Roberts' camp. " This is the anniversary of Majuba Hill." The Premier received the AgentGeneral's cablegram conveying the news of Cronje's capitulation at 12,30 a.m. The message is dated February 27* 12.20 a.m. i The Promier thinks that, as a fitting reminder of this great occasion, the whole of the schools of the colony on opening in the morning should have tha messago rend to them, to mark a brilliant epoch in tha history of the Empire, and that, to celebrate the oecibion of this glorious victory, the children should bo given a holiday. As it is too late to communicate direct with the commit'e ts and teachers, he hop is that his suggestion, when seen in tae public Press in the morning, will be generally acted upon.
