Ddnedin, February 22. Much liard and useful work was done in the contingent camp to-day. Eighty men were put through the riding test. Ten were disqualified, thus reducing: the number in camp to 200. Another i 50 are expected to be weeded out next j week. Having the advantage of a few members of the Otago Hussars, the anen have dropped into the mounted •drill work remarkably well.
