REVIEW AT CHRISTCHURCH. ii Christchuech, February 15. ' The Governor reviewed the Third ; Contingent before a large attendance of 1 the pnblic. The physique of the man was greatly admired. r The Premier and the Hons. J. Mo- ■ KeDzie and W. 0. Walker were present during part of the proceedings, j The men were entertained at luncheon by the Mayor. The Governor • and Ministers and about 400 people ' were present. ' Later. The contingent was received by the Governor this morning, when the c various evolutions were satisfactorily c performed. Colonel Pole-Penton, the 1 Premier, the Hons. W. C. Walker and a J. McKenzie were present. The a . Mayor entertained the members of the s contingent at lunch in the Opera House. Amongst the guests were the Governor, the Premier, tha Hons. Walker and McKcuz'e, Colonel PolePenton, Bishop Julius, Rev. It. Morley, 5 the officers of H.M,S. Tauranga and ' Ringdove, several members of Parlia- j ! ment, and a numbar of visiting Mayors. The speeches were all of a patriotic 3 nature. Major Jowsey responded to ( s the toast of the contingent, which was 9 1 received with the greatest enthusiasm. '
