[PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, February 5. The Australian bowlers left for Eotorua to-day, having been defeated in the competition for Messrs. Stewart, Dawson and Co.'s trophies. At the fourth round in this event there were left in Newmarket and Wellington, who play the final to-morrow. Great interest ia being taken in the event, as Newmarket is champion and Wellington second for the championship bumer.
