A NEW ZEALAND WARRIOR.
[per press association.] Auckland, January 27. The late Mr. Haslain, aged 74, exSergt -Major of the Auckland volunteers, is to be accorded a military funeral. He was in the Hutt War, and the action at Boulcott's Farm, with the 58th Regiment, when Bugler Allen was cut down while Bounding the alarm. When bis right arm was tomahawked, be caught the bugle with his left hand and roused his comrades.
