[PBB FRBSS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, January 25. Mr. Cameron, the Government prodine expert, reports that at tho request of the Committee of the National Agricultural Union, he gavo an exhibition before them of the advantages ' of branding frown meat. The members were impressed by the demonstration, and passed a resolution urging the English Government to pass a Bill the marking of imported meat compulsory. Mr. Cameron is of opinion that it is of no use to introduce branding till legislation is passed. He also reportq that steps are being taken to flw* the fraudulent practice of falling River Hate mutton as New Zealand.
