Received 25,10.15 a.m. London, January 24. Mr. A. A. Dangar, of Sydney, has given £IOOO to the Australian Bushmen's Contingent Fund. (Received 26, 1.50 am.) Sydney, Januaiy 25. The cost of the colony's contingents gent to the Transvaal, allowing for six months' pay, is £125,000. Wellington, January 25. A private letter from Sydney states that besides the two contingents already gent by New South Wales and the Bushmen's corps shortly to be des Hitched, 700 men are in training at Randwick in case of need.
