The final csmpetition for the Samoan \ Trophy, presented by Mrs. Tabor to the i. Taranaki Rifle Volunteers, was held on the range on Thursday afternoon. ' The scoring was poor, caused by con- " tradictory winds and smoke. The scores were as foilow:
