■By. the death Mary Acn Rbwe, of Ball Bloolf,,at ,-ihe ripe age of 82, another of the old identities of the district will'be missed. The deceased lady was. a sister of tbe late Hemy Nathalie! Rowe/asid Catae toTaianaki shortly after the war, settling at Bell Block with her brother, and residing there up till her death. She was the eldest daughter of the late Captain Nathaniel Rowe, R.N., who fought at Trafalgar under Lard Nelson, and sailed round the world with Lord Anson, It is stated that Captain Rowe was the child of John Rowe, of Ransworth, and that his mother was a sister of Lord Chancellor Bathurst. was well knowii, and will be missed by a. large circle of friends in the district. Tr.e interment will take placa at Ball Block cemetery to-day. _. I
