Almond, Fig and Cherry Bread. Three cup« (12oz) flour, 6 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 egg, 3oz sugar, 11 cups (12oz) milk, 3 tablespoons melted butter, I cup chopped almonds, \ cup floured chopped figs, 1 cup floured chopped cherries. Sift together dry ingredients. Ad i to hole in the centre beaten egg and milk. Stir in. ever-widening circles. Lastly add melted butter, choppeu ab mon ds, figs and cherries. Place in a greased loaf tin and bake for one hour at 375 degrees.
